A mortgage loan originator (MLO) licensed in Washington is required to complete nine total hours of continuing education annually. This includes:
- Three hours on federal mortgage-related laws
- Two hours on ethics, fraud, and consumer protection
- Two hours on traditional and non-traditional mortgage products
- One hour on elective content
- One hour of Washington-specific education
This online self-study course satisfies the one hour of required state-specific education. Within the course, students will spend time reviewing state regulations and acts impacting mortgage loan origination activities; perusing scenarios, examples, or case studies; and completing exercises to demonstrate understanding of the content.
Late CE 8 Hour SAFE Comprehensive: 2024 Mortgage Loan Originator Course (#15312)
This online self-study course satisfies the eight hours of 2024 annual continuing education required of individuals maintaining a state-issued mortgage loan originator (MLO) license. Within this course, students will spend time reviewing required topics, including:
